Background to
Holocaust Research Project
During your studies
this year, you will be reading The Diary
of a Young Girl written by Anne Frank and the novel Night by Elie Wiesel. The
Diary of a Young Girl recounts the life of a young girl living in hiding
during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands in World War II. Night is a disturbing memoir of Wiesel’s
experience of living in a Jewish ghetto and eventual deportation to a
concentration camp. In order to truly understand what these two brave fighter
endured we must also learn about the time period in which they lived and the
circumstances that cause them to fight for their life.
Task: Create a PowerPoint
presentation which covers the topic your group has been assigned.
Requirements:
The PowerPoint
presentation must include at least 3 visuals. These can include film clips,
pictures, graphs etc…
The presentation must
be at least 5 minutes in length but not longer than 10
At least 3 slide
should contain bulleted information
The slides should be
organized in a detailed manner
Last slide should
contain work cited page
I recommend making
one person an expert on each slide so that your group will be able to present a
detailed presentation to the class.
