Following a brief video presentation, students are to complete a
cultural packet supplying basic information in English about Mexico,
in the following categories:
· Symbols – Describe the flag of the country or symbols associated with the region (colors, meaning of symbols)
· Geography/Climate – Capitals, rivers, major cities, weather forecast.
· Economy –Currency, exchange rate, regional products.
· Food- native cuisine, special dishes, where products are purchased, preparation.
· Government – Historical political information, current form of government
· Customs – Any special customs, music, dance, performances, ceremonies.
· Self-Reflection – Describe how the area studied is similar and/or different to your own, likes/dislikes.
Students will provide information based on research using the library resources.
